That's right, we're racing in the Encino Velodrome! If you
don't know what that is, it's a cement banked oval and we're gonna be running
our minibikes on it. This is a legit thing, so we can relax and have some fun.
Because it took much time and expense to set this up we have to adhere to some additional rules:
1. No Booze.
2. Pick up your trash.
3. No oil or gas may be left on the track, bring some rags and acetone to clean up.
4. Only riders their bikes will be allowed in the center, everyone else is in the stands. This is for safety, we don't want people running around potentially causing accidents.
5. Mini bikes must be parked on the grassy area on the floor of the velodrome.
6. And most importantly, no crybabies. We don't want to hear it.
7. Riders must be ready to go by 8:00am. We need to sign you in and get the race sheets up. Once we start, that's it. Don't be late or you won't race.
How it will work:
Racers will be grouped in groups of 10. You will complete 15 laps. The first 3 finishers will move up to the next bracket. After all elimination brackets have ran we'll run one final race of 15 laps and that will give up our top three finishers. You will be broken down into groups and given a color code, we will call the first group and then the next one need to get ready. It is important that you have your bike out and your number plate on it so we can get everyone marked down. More on this later.
A green flag means you go.
A red flag means you stop. (to clear a wreck) You'll be given a pace lap.
Checkered flag means it's over.
Now if we do everything right and don't act like fools (like drag racing in the street) we will perhaps be able to do this again, won't that be fun?

You must stay above the black line.

Mind the rail.
